01. Zero-Footprint Policy

snap.it is designed for speed and anonymity. We do not use persistent tracking cookies, we don't build user profiles, and we never sell your data. Your interaction with the platform is transient by design.

02. In-Memory Processing

When you submit a link, media is processed via an in-memory buffer on our high-speed edge nodes. We do not store the underlying media files on our permanent disk arrays. They remain on their original platform servers; we simply provide the high-fidelity gateway.

03. Persistent Metadata

We maintain an autonomous **Transaction Ledger** to monitor system health. This records extraction metadata (platform name, processing speed, device hardware type, and city-level geolocation). This data is anonymized and used only for industrial analytics and preventing service abuse.

04. Local Session Persistence

For your convenience, your **Extraction History** is stored locally on your device via `localStorage`. This data never leaves your browser and can be cleared at any time by simply wiping your browser cache or clicking 'Clear History' in the panel.
